About this conversion
A .msg file is how Outlook saves a single message to disk, and it is the file people forward when they need to pass a message on as evidence. Outside Outlook almost nothing opens it, because inside it is not mail at all but a small Microsoft database of properties. The page reads that structure directly and lays the message out as a document.
